Bear by Julia Phillips

Not the most famous Julia Phillips but the one that I have loved the deepest. My sister and I grew up reading the story of Snow White and Rose Red, and would often play make believe that we had won the heart of a monster. I wouldn’t change anything about this book or how it made me feel, and yet the story haunts me still.
